Whether it’s cold season or not, a cold can strike at anytime. There’s no good time for a cold. And those pesky sniffles always seem to come at the worst time. Some of you may have a cupboard full of pharmaceuticals waiting to zap any and all symptoms. But if you’re more natural, like me, you don’t want to automatically go that synthetic route.
If you’re looking for a natural cold remedy, why not try using eucalyptus and lemon for your cold? The people at Easy-Home-Made have a natural and homemade inhalation remedy for you. Even if you’re not a born do-it-yourself-er, this simple remedy is still possible. All you need to make it at home are a few things:
- essential oils (eucalyptus and lemon)
- boiling water
- a towel
The procedure is simple. First boil 2 cups of water. Turn off the stove and observe the steam. Add a few drops of the essential oils to the water. Then, use the towel to create a sort of tent over your head so the fumes don’t escape. Breath in slowly. This may be very strong, so it’s best to start small, with just a few breaths.
If you’d rather use a humidifier you can use the same ingredients in your humidifier. You can also add lavender to this one, if you want.
So, with just a few ingredients and a simple recipe you can be prepared for a cold anytime.
