Who doesn’t want to have smooth and crack-free soles?
Cracked heels can be caused by lack of moisture, poor foot care, unhealthy diet, improperly-fitted shoes, and dry air. Good thing, there are many home remedies that you can try if you have this problem. Here are some of them:
- Apply vegetable oil like olive oil, coconut oil or sesame oil on your heels before going to bed. Wear socks to lock in the moisture.
- Exfoliate with rice flour to remove dead skin cells caused by cracking and dryness.
- Crush Indian lilac leaves and add turmeric to form a paste, and apply this on your cracked heels. Rinse and dry with a clean cloth after 30 minutes.
