Anti Inflammatory Tea with Turmeric Ginger and Honey

Allergies occur as an overreaction of the immune system to an allergen that it deems harmful but really isn’t. As a result, a person suffers from stuffy nose, watery eyes and frequent sneezing. It can be a major problem whenever the allergy season sets in.

Don’t let yourself suffer any longer. Make an anti-inflammatory tea using ginger, turmeric and honey. This recipe is a good defense against colds, flu and allergies. To make this, you’ll need one cup water, ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric, ¼ teaspoon ground ginger, splash of nut or soy milk, and raw honey to taste.

Boil water in a saucepan and add the ginger and turmeric. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add milk and strain tea into a cup. Add honey. Take a sip. What do you think?
